PRIVACY POLICY
ADHBrain Privacy Policy
Effective September 11, 2026 · Current consumer beta
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how the current ADHBrain consumer beta handles information when you use the website and connected app experience. It covers account information, private workspace content, reminders and notifications, feedback, security information, and optional cloud-assisted features.
2. Information ADHBrain may collect
DataWhy it is usedTypical retention
Account email and authentication dataCreate and secure your account, authenticate sessions, recover access. While your account exists; authentication/security records may also follow infrastructure-provider retention.
Profile and settingsPersonalize the app, remember preferences, support syncing.Until you change them or delete your account.
Tasks, time blocks, routines, notes, ideas, Brain Dumps and app stateProvide the planner, notes, routines, focus and cross-device sync features you choose to use.Until you delete the content or delete your account.
Focus/timing history and energy selectionsShow progress and help ADHBrain make local planning suggestions.Until you delete the related data or your account.
Notification subscriptions and alert recordsDeliver reminders and notifications you enable. While needed to deliver enabled alerts; cleared when applicable on global sign-out or account deletion.
Feedback and basic technical contextRespond to reports and improve reliability, including page/app version and device/browser context submitted with feedback.Until removed through account deletion or otherwise no longer needed for support and product integrity.
Cloud-assistance inputProcess the specific smart feature you request when Cloud Assistance is turned on.Requests to OpenAI use store:false. This does not eliminate provider abuse-monitoring logs or guarantee zero retention. Provider retention depends on the applicable service terms and account controls; core planning does not require Cloud Assistance.
3. Who may process information
ADHBrain uses service providers to operate the product. The current stack includes Supabase for authentication, database and synchronization services; Vercel for website and server-function hosting; and OpenAI for optional cloud-assisted processing when Cloud Assistance is enabled and a cloud feature is used. Notification delivery may also involve Apple or browser/platform push-notification services when you enable notifications.
These providers receive only the information needed for the service they perform. ADHBrain does not sell personal workspace content to advertisers.
4. Cloud assistance and sensitive information
Cloud Assistance is off by default. If you turn it on and use a cloud-assisted feature, ADHBrain performs a local sensitive-content check before sending a request. Content that appears to contain health information, private journal/mood information, or common direct identifiers is kept out of external AI and handled with built-in local logic instead. Core planning remains available when Cloud Assistance is off. This switch controls external AI processing, not account syncing: content you save in a signed-in workspace, including health-related notes, can still be stored and synced by ADHBrain through Supabase.
Do not intentionally submit protected health information or other regulated health information to Cloud Assistance unless ADHBrain has expressly approved that use under the necessary agreements and configuration. The automatic guard is defense-in-depth and cannot guarantee that every sensitive phrase or identifier will be recognized.
5. Tracking, advertising and private screens
The current beta does not include advertising pixels, behavioral advertising trackers, or session-replay analytics inside the authenticated ADHBrain workspace. ADHBrain may use essential technical information needed to provide authentication, security, syncing and requested product features.
6. Security
ADHBrain uses account authentication, user-scoped database access controls, encrypted network transport, server-side authorization for protected cloud endpoints, private-notification defaults, and browser security headers. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so ADHBrain continues to review and improve these safeguards.
7. Your choices and rights inside ADHBrain
You can edit or delete individual content in the app, export your account workspace, turn Cloud Assistance off, use private notification previews, sign out across devices, and permanently delete your account and app data from Account → Privacy & Data.
8. Retention and deletion
Workspace content is generally retained while your account exists unless you delete it sooner. Account deletion removes active ADHBrain account and workspace records controlled by the application. Limited copies can remain temporarily in infrastructure backups, security records, or provider logs according to provider retention, fraud/security needs, or legal obligations, after which they expire under those systems' retention processes.
9. Children
The current consumer beta does not permit independent account creation for children under 13. ADHBrain asks for an age-eligibility confirmation at account creation and does not ask for a birth date. An under-13 Kids experience is not available in this consumer beta. It will not launch until verifiable parental consent, direct parent notice, parent review/deletion controls, and child-specific retention controls are implemented.
10. Changes and privacy questions
If this policy changes materially, ADHBrain will update the effective date and provide an in-product notice before a material change takes effect, with renewed consent where required. For current beta privacy questions or requests, use ADHBrain's in-app Feedback channel.
YOUR DATA & CONTROLS
You control your workspace.
Account → Privacy & Data
⇩Download a copyExport your ADHBrain workspace and account profile in a readable JSON file. ADHBrain asks you to re-confirm your password before exporting. Technical tokens and notification credentials are intentionally excluded.
×Delete your account and dataDelete your active ADHBrain account, workspace data, feedback, and notification records. ADHBrain requires a fresh password check before this permanent action.
⌁Sign out everywhereEnd ADHBrain sessions across signed-in devices and clear applicable pending background notification records.
◔Keep lock-screen previews privatePrivate notification previews are on by default. You can change that setting for your device.
↝Choose whether cloud assistance is usedCloud Assistance is off by default and requires an explicit acknowledgement for the signed-in account on this browser before it can be enabled. Signing out clears this permission; another account cannot inherit it. Turning it off keeps smart organization on ADHBrain's built-in local logic rather than sending text to the cloud AI endpoint.
▣Automatic AI privacy boundaryBefore external AI is called, ADHBrain checks locally for likely health/sensitive content and direct identifiers. Matching content stays with built-in tools. The server repeats the check before any provider request.
◈Add optional account MFAYou can add an authenticator-based second step from Account → Security.
What ADHBrain does not claim
ADHBrain does not claim ownership of the personal content you create in your workspace. You grant ADHBrain only the technical permission needed to store, sync, process and display that content in order to provide features you request.
CHILDREN & PARENTS
Children's Privacy Notice
Current beta safeguard · September 11, 2026
Under-13 accounts are not available in this beta.
ADHBrain is intentionally keeping the child-directed experience behind a privacy gate until the parent-consent and parent-control system is ready. The regular account form asks only for confirmation that the person creating the account is 13 or older; it does not ask for a child's birth date.
What ADHBrain will require before an under-13 Kids experience launches
Before collecting personal information online from a child under 13, ADHBrain's Kids experience must provide a direct notice to the parent or guardian and obtain verifiable parental consent, except where a specific legal exception applies.
Parent choices and controls
The planned parent controls must let a verified parent review the child's personal information, request deletion, stop future collection or use, revoke consent, and choose whether a child's information can be disclosed to third parties when that disclosure is not integral to the service.
Data minimization
A child-directed experience should collect only information reasonably necessary for the feature the child is using. ADHBrain should not require extra personal information as a condition of participating in an activity.
Retention and deletion
Child personal information should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected and then securely deleted. A parent revoking consent may result in the child's account or child-specific features being closed if the information is necessary to provide them.
Service providers
Before a child-directed feature shares personal information with a service provider, ADHBrain should take reasonable steps to confirm that the provider can maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of children's information and should limit the provider to the purpose required to provide the feature.
For parents right now
Please do not create an ADHBrain account in a child's name or enter a child under 13's personal information into the current beta. An under-13 child-directed experience is not available in this consumer beta.

3. Your content
You retain your rights in content you create or enter into ADHBrain. You give ADHBrain permission to host, store, transmit, process, format and display that content only as needed to operate features you request, protect the service, comply with law, and maintain the product.
4. Not medical care or emergency support

If you need emergency help, use the appropriate emergency services for your location.
5. Cloud-assisted features
Cloud-assisted features are optional and may produce incomplete or incorrect suggestions. You remain responsible for reviewing decisions, plans, reminders and generated suggestions before relying on them. Do not send regulated health information to Cloud Assistance unless ADHBrain has expressly approved that use.
6. Beta service and availability
The current service is a beta. Features may change, be unavailable temporarily, or be removed as the product develops. ADHBrain takes reasonable steps to protect data and maintain reliability, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass security controls, access another person's data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer protected backend systems, upload malicious code, abuse automated endpoints, or use ADHBrain for unlawful activity.
8. Account suspension or termination
Any violation of these Terms, misuse of the service, or conduct ADHBrain reasonably deems harmful to ADHBrain or its users may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, at ADHBrain's discretion. Beyond that, ADHBrain may also suspend, disable, or terminate your account and access at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, and without liability to you. You may stop using ADHBrain at any time and can permanently delete your account through Privacy & Data.
9. Service ownership
ADHBrain's software, branding, interface, designs and product materials remain the property of their respective owner. These Terms do not transfer ownership of ADHBrain itself to users.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ADHBrain is provided on an “as available” basis during beta development. ADHBrain does not promise that suggestions will always be accurate or that the service will meet every individual need.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ADHBrain, its operators, and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ADHBrain and its creator(s) from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or connected with your access to or use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any reminders, data, or suggestions generated by the service.
12. Force majeure
ADHBrain is not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including operational disruptions, utility or cloud-hosting failures, internet service interruptions, cyberattacks, or acts of God.
13. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may change as ADHBrain develops. Material updates will be accompanied by an updated effective date and appropriate notice before they take effect. Continued use after an effective update means the revised Terms apply, subject to applicable law.
